The Erlangen AG welcomes delegations from all over the world ("Inbound") and promotes a detailed view on the location of Erlangen. Delegations are world-wide multiplicators and therefore central components of personal corospondense. The range thereby extends from entrepreneur journeys over partnerships between cities up to political delegations. In Erlangen we have welcomed numerous delegation, among them a group of scholarship holders of the DIW, the American Honorary Consul, Chinese Energy Managers, representatives of the City of Stoke on Trent, Besiktas, Shenzhen, Wuhan and Vladimir, Clusterland Upper Austria and energy companies from Greece and Portugal. Also specialised delegations from Denmark, Holland, Finland, France etc. had been our guests.

 

However, the Erlangen AG uses delegations also as outbound measures to market the location in thematically selected target regions. Just to mention are the Region of Staffordshire, in which the Erlangen AG held a speech for regional entrepreneurs about networking possibilities in the medical technology sector in Erlangen, its delegation journeys to Wuhan, Rennes, into the Oresund Science Region and the Clusterland Upper Austria. An enterprise delegation journey for companies from the range of medical technology, biotechnology and pharma is at present in planning.
