Concerning external links
Erlangen AG, as a content provider in accordance with § 5 Paragraph 1 of the Teleservices Act and § 5 of the Interstate Agreement on Media Services, is only responsible for its "own" content made available for utilization.

These own contents are to be distinguished from links to contents made available by other providers. Cross references marked as a [LINK] gives Erlangen AG access to "third-party" contents.

With the links Erlangen AG is merely passing on access for the use of these contents (§ 9 Teleservices Act). Erlangen AG is not responsible for these "third-party" contents since the company does not pass the information, does not select the addressees of information passed on and nor does it select or amend the information passed on. Automatic temporary intermediate storing of this "third-party" information is not carried out by Erlangen on the basis of the selected call-up and linking method, so that in this case too Erlangen AG will not be held responsible for these "third-party" contents. For initial linking to these Internet offers, Erlangen AG has, however, checked third-party content to verify that this content will not result in the company being held liable under civil or criminal law. However, as soon as Erlangen AG ascertains itself or is notified by third parties that a concrete offer to which a link had been made available gives rise to liability in terms of civil or criminal law, Erlangen AG will immediately delete the link to such an offer insofar as this is technically possible and reasonable.
